After every board meeting — city councils, school boards, county supervisors, water districts — a document the size of a book gets published: the official minutes and approved resolutions. Almost no one reads them. Yet buried in those pages are tax hikes, zoning changes, contract awards, and budget reallocations that shape daily life for entire communities.
I started CivicDeepDive because I believe the gap between what public bodies decide and what the public actually knows is the single biggest failure of local democracy. The information is technically public — but functionally invisible. Patriots, activists, and free-market neighbors shouldn't need a law degree and forty spare hours to find out what their own government just did.
So we built an intake engine: drop in any agency's minutes and AI translates them into an executive summary — who voted, what passed, how much was spent, and which items carry a warning. Then we go further: matching you with neighbors tracking the same alert, and giving you one-click pathways to officials, board members, ombudsmen, and the press.
My long-term vision is simple: a country where no taxpayer-funded decision goes unread. Every upload makes this network smarter, and every neighbor who joins makes it stronger. I'm glad you're here.
